WHAT IS THE MONACO E-KART CHAMPIONSHIP?
The MONACO E-KART CHAMPIONSHIP is regarded as the first entirely urban karting promoter and organiser, running fully electrically powered go-karts. Founded and situated in Monaco, and currently racing in France ans Italy, with many more countries in mind.
The objective of its founding members, all with a history involving motorsports, particularly karting, is to completely reinvent the sport, by creating and utilizing modern, electrically – powered go-karts, which push the boundaries of technology, all exclusively racing on street-circuits.
The DNA of these new events? To shake up the codes of the petrol kart championships while creating a dynamic intended to reinvent the basic discipline of all forms of motorsport.
The MONACO E-KART CHAMPIONSHIP is also a tool to raise awareness for environmental protection, a social lever and an ecological and economic solution for all enthusiasts.

WHY DID YOU CREATE IT?
The word EQUALITY has been the starting point and convergence for the creation of this championship. And this thanks to the strong and very varied experience of its founding members at all levels of motorsport.
The MONACO E-KART CHAMPIONSHIP wants to put the driver at the center of the equation and allow him to fight on equal terms with all competitors.

Karting being the gateway to motor sport for the youngest, this new challenge wants to avoid the important deschooling of high level sports teenagers by proposing only competitions, tests and races, on two days (Saturdays and Sundays) without any training session before each race weekend. This way, all drivers will start each competition on an equal footing.
