Commission Internationale de Karting (CIK)

The CIK (Commission Internationale de Karting) is the specialised Karting commission of the FIA, the governing body of world Motor Sport.

Karting is one of only four Motor Sport disciplines that enjoy an FIA World Championship.Champions such as Senna, Prost, Patrese, Schumacher, Alonso, Raïkkönen, Button, Hamilton, Kubica and many others gained access to Motor Sport through Karting.

The CIK oversees Karting safety in conjunction with the FIA Institute for Motor Sport Safety and with a Research Group exclusively dedicated to Karting.
